Mahogany Circle was specifically designed for women just like you — GOD FEARING, FAITH DRIVEN, and MOTIVATED! CONFIDENT, ASPIRING, AND SELF-REFLECTIVE.

Our main goal is to heal the scars and wounds that have prevented women from establishing healthy and supportive friendships. Using biblical principles as our guide, we sponsor activities, workshops, and seminars designed to empower women to be better wives, mothers, sisters, and friends.

Our founding scripture (Luke1: 26-56) tells the story of our LORD's divine conception. When the angel of GOD visited Mary to announce her impending pregnancy, he told her of her relative Elizabeth, who recently had a divine impregnation of her own. The WORD says that afterward Mary went to her (Elizabeth) and stayed with her for some time. In HIS divine wisdom GOD instructed her to seek out someone, another woman, that had already gone through what she was about to endure. He offers Elizabeth's testimony as encouragement over Mary's situation and also to show her proof that he is GOD and "able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we could ever hope or imagine..." (Eph 3:20)

"Sisterhood is a Verb!"

A verb is commonly referred to as an action word. By definition it implies that there will be some work involved. Most of us have had the same best friend for years. You are so used to each other's ways that you don't have to think about being friends — you just are. When you introduce someone new into your life, you have to start over. It takes time to learn who a person truly is. So when you find yourself frustrated over a situation with a new sister-friend, remember that true friendship takes time to build. Patience is a virtue in all aspects of life. People fall into two categories — they are either assets or liabilities. Take care of those who add value to your life. Anything worth having is worth working for.
